Irineo L. Santiago National High School of Metro Dadiangas is opening opportunities for committed educators and aspiring teachers to serve as ARAL Program External Tutors for School Year 2026–2027.

Through guided reading and learner-centered support, successful applicants will help Metrian learners strengthen essential literacy skills, rebuild their confidence, and progress toward improved academic performance.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs)
• Pre-service Teacher Education students
• Education graduates, whether LET passers or non-LET
• Preferably major in Filipino, English, Math or BEED
• Possess good communication and teaching skills

Metrian ARAL Summer Camp 2026 Culminates with a Celebration of Literacy and Learning

The Metrian ARAL Summer Camp 2026 officially concluded with a meaningful Culmination Program held at Metrian Hall last June 2, 2026. The activity celebrated the learning progress, participation, and perseverance of the Metrian learners who successfully completed the 20-day summer ARAL camp. Through the guidance and support of the School Head, Dr. Laila L. Jubelag, Assistant Principal Ma’am Noeme A. Bancuyo, and the leadership of ARAL Reading Coordinator Ma’am KM Guinto Crampatanta , together with the dedication of the internal and external tutors, SSLG, parents, and partner stakeholders, the program became a successful avenue for strengthening literacy skills, building learner confidence, and promoting the joy of reading.

The culmination program featured the learners’ outputs and performances, highlighting the gains they achieved throughout the camp. It also recognized the efforts of the learners, teachers, tutors, parents, and community partners who supported the successful implementation of the ARAL Program.

During the program, learners were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance, active participation, and improvement throughout the 20-day session. They also received school supplies and special awards from the camp-like activities conducted every Thursday. Food and snacks were likewise distributed to the learners and tutors as part of the successful celebration.

The school also expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Lilane M. Josol, for gracing the wonderful culmination program and for her continued support to the literacy initiatives of the school.

This activity was made possible through the strong collaboration of the school, DepEd personnel, stakeholders, parents, and the community, all united by one goal: to help every learner become a more confident and capable reader.

Indeed, the Metrian ARAL Summer Camp 2026 was more than a learning activity. It was a celebration of hope, dedication, and shared commitment to literacy.

We warmly welcome Week 4 of our ARAL Program as we enter the final stretch of this meaningful and wonderful journey! 💛📖

To start the week, our Assistant Principal Ma'am Mary Grace Diamante,actively monitored the conduct of the program to ensure that learning activities continue to run smoothly and effectively for both tutors and learners.This support strengthens our commitment to providing quality and responsive reading interventions for our learners.

As we embrace Week 4, we also look forward to a fruitful and fulfilling culmination of all the efforts, progress, and achievements made throughout the program. Truly, every session has been a step toward growth, confidence, and love for learning.
