𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙈𝙎𝙐-𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙣𝙞! 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙣𝙖’𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙠 𝙨𝙖 “𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙤 𝙆𝙤, 𝘽𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙤!”

This year, the MSU-General Santos Alumni Relations Office and the MSU Alumni Association, in celebration of the Balik Tambler Alumni Reunion 2026, bring you “Puno Ko, Buhay Mo!”, a yearly tree-growing activity in support of the Indigenous Peoples (IP) students of Mindanao State University-General Santos through the Kalbangi Organization. The initiative will officially launch on October 10, 2026.

More than just planting trees, this initiative is a call to come together, give back, and grow something that will create a lasting impact for our communities and future generations.

𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗡𝗜 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 | 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗭𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱

Two MSU–GenSan alumni from the United States and New Zealand, Reynaldo Jope and Noel Descalzo, recently visited the MSU–GenSan Alumni Relations Office to secure their Alumni IDs and register for the upcoming Balik Tambler on October 10.

Jope and Descalzo, both retired professionals, also took the opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues from MSU–GenSan. During their visit, they toured around the Cultural Affairs Office, Alumni Relations Office, Alumni Pavilion, and University Canteen.

They also had the opportunity to meet with Alumni Relations Office Director Dr. Alma Celesthia Aguja, CSSH Dean Dr. Mario Aguja, and University Registrar Mr. James Olaer, making their homecoming a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with the MSU–GenSan community.

We look forward to welcoming them back to MSU–GenSan and celebrating with fellow alumni at Balik Tambler!

"𝓑𝓪𝓬𝓴𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓼𝓭𝓸𝓶, 𝓼𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝔀𝓪𝓻𝓭”

On August 20, 2026, the Alumni Relations Office, in collaboration with the Cultural Affairs Office, conducted an exclusive Mentoring Session on Stage Management at the Library AVR.

The initiative was held as part of the CCP Kaisa sa Sining (KSS) Apprenticeship Program. Designed to enhance regional arts management and standards, the full-day workshop brought together 20 selected faculty, staff, and students who are into performing arts management for an intensive, hands-on learning, practical workahops and mentorship.

Ms. Alma Celesthia D. Aguja, Director of the Alumni Relations Office, opened the event with welcome remarks and presented the program rationale. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Marco D. Aguja, KSS Program Apprentice 2026 and CCP Fellow, who led participants through the core fundamentals of stage management and seamless production ex*****on.
