Have you ever heard about the Greek Philosopher, Plato? If not, take a look about who Plato is. 🫶🏻

According to Britannica; Plato (born 428/427 BCE, Athens, Greece—died 348/347, Athens) ancient Greek philosopher, student of Socrates (c. 470–399 BCE), teacher of Aristotle (384–322 BCE), and founder of the Academy, best known as the author of philosophical works of unparalleled influence. He is one of the major figures of Classical antiquity.

Plato is known for his most famous work; the Republic, which details a wise society run by a philosopher. He is also famous for his dialogues (early, middle, and late), which showcase his metaphysical theory of forms—something else he is well known for. Plato also founded the Academy, an academic program that many consider to be the first Western university, where he stressed the importance of science and mathematics. Because of this, he became known as the “maker of mathematicians.”

One of Plato's famous quote is “All men are by nature equal, made all of the same earth by one workman.”
