A Heartfelt Message: Understanding the Effort Behind Every Milestone
Dear Parents,
Last week marked a beautiful chapter in our children’s lives as they spent their first week with our ST Program. It was full of emotions—excitement, nerves, curiosity, and even a little bit of hesitation. But through it all, we witnessed something truly magical—our little ones taking their first steps toward independence, not just as individuals, but as learners.
As we practice the concept of “no adult companions” inside the classroom, many of you might wonder about the reasoning behind this decision. This step is not just a routine; it’s a delicate process of teaching our children to trust themselves and their teachers, to build confidence, and to understand that the classroom is a safe space for learning and growth. It’s not easy, and it takes time. It takes repetition, patience, and a whole lot of love.
Our teachers are the true superheroes in these early stages. They are the ones who provide the care, the guidance, and the gentle push that helps our children reach their milestones. You might not see all the small, significant moments—the quiet conversations, the reassuring gestures, the ways we navigate through tears and fears—but trust me when I say that every moment counts.
The reality of teaching toddlers goes beyond just teaching ABCs and 123s. It is about molding hearts, encouraging curiosity, and showing love in ways that words sometimes can’t capture. It’s about nurturing the very foundation of their future, where each milestone achieved is the result of massive effort, dedication, and love.
I ask that we, as a community of parents and educators, come together in supporting this process with open minds and positive hearts. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress, one small step at a time. If you see your child struggling, remember, that is a sign they are learning, and we are right there with them, every step of the way.
We can’t do this alone, and we never expect to. The love, the patience, the sacrifices made by our teachers, day in and day out, deserve to be acknowledged. Please don’t underestimate the depth of effort it takes to get our children ready for the world. They may not understand it yet, but every moment in this classroom builds the foundation of self-love, support, and confidence. These early years are where it all starts, and we cannot afford to skip or rush this phase.
Let us be aware of the importance of these formative years, and instead of commenting negatively, let’s choose to support. Let’s be kind, understanding, and positive, because every child deserves to grow in an environment that nurtures their heart, their mind, and their soul.

About ST PROGRAM (originally made and curated by yours truly)
📌 Our class follows a progressive approach, blending the best of Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori methods to foster a learning environment where children are not only equipped with knowledge but also experience joy in their learning journey.
📌 Since 2016, this method has proven to be highly effective, guiding countless children to explore and thrive. The class has been carefully designed for a smaller group size, ensuring that each child receives individualized guidance and support throughout their learning process.
📌 One of the key elements of our program is the use of acapella songs, where there are no pre-recorded videos—just the pure sound of voices, encouraging children to sing along. This helps build their communication skills, enhancing their speaking, listening, and reading abilities along the way.
📌 We also infuse art-based activities, allowing children to express their creativity and imagination through drawing, painting, and crafting. Exploration activities are another cornerstone, where kids are encouraged to engage with their environment, learning through hands-on experiences that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
📌 Additionally, introducing musical instruments into the classroom allows kids to discover their musicality and develop an awareness of beat and rhythm, further supporting their cognitive and emotional development. It’s a method that blends fun with learning, and it continues to positively impact our little ones every day.
