MATAAS NA KAHOY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL KICKS OFF SCHOOL YEAR 2026-2027
Mataas na Kahoy National High School officially welcomed learners, parents, teachers, and stakeholders as it opened School Year 2026โ2027 through a series of orientation activities held on June 8 and 9, 2026.
The school conducted a General Orientation for Students on June 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, aimed at preparing learners for the new academic year. Students were oriented on important school policies and expectations to ensure a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment.
On June 9, the school held a General Orientation for Parents and Guardians, followed by the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) Elections. The activity provided an opportunity for parents to become familiar with school programs and actively participate in school governance through the election of SPTA officers.
Among the key topics discussed during the orientations were the schoolโs Anti-Bullying Policy, Child at Risk (CARS) Program, the Three-Term School Calendar, the prohibition of mobile devices during class hours, as well as policies on discipline, attendance, and cleanliness. School officials emphasized the importance of cooperation among students, parents, and teachers in maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment.
The orientation also featured the introduction of the schoolโs teaching and non-teaching personnel, allowing students and parents to become acquainted with the educators and staff who will guide and support learners throughout the school year.
School administrators expressed optimism for a successful and productive School Year 2026โ2027, highlighting the shared commitment of the school community to academic excellence, discipline, and student well-being.
