Classes will temporarily shift to Modular Learning Modality today, August 18, 2026, due to the heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). For the same reason, all school offices, including the Accounting and Principal’s Offices, will also be closed today.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 18, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Tarlac
📍 Pampanga
📍 Bulacan
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Following the announcement of Mayor Ed Custodio, Shekinah will continue implementing the Modular Learning Modality tomorrow, August 11, 2026 (Tuesday), due to the continuing effects of the Habagat.

Parents may check the list of assigned activities through the OneShekinah Parent Portal or the respective Common Rooms.

We encourage all learners to stay at home, and use this time to accomplish their assigned activities and unfinished schoolwork.

Following the announcement of Mayor Ed Custodio, Shekinah will temporarily shift to Modular Learning Modality tomorrow, August 10, 2026, to allow our to continue their lessons at home while giving families time to prepare for internet connectivity concerns and arrange for guardian assistance should Online Learning be implemented.

Continued heavy rains are expected due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), and flooding may occur in low-lying areas.

We advise all to stay indoors, stay safe, and use this time to rest and recover, especially those who may be experiencing symptoms of communicable illnesses.

SHEKAIZEN REPRESENTS! 🥋🏅

What a remarkable achievement by our very own Shekaizen Taekwondo athletes at the Laguna Age Group Taekwondo Championships, held last August 2, 2026, at the San Pablo Convention Center.

Leading the medal haul are Audrey Gatchalian of Grade 10 and Allen Gatchalian of Grade 6, who both captured Gold Medals in the Kyorugi category, bringing honor to Shekinah and the Shekaizen Taekwondo Club.

Also making us proud are Elliz Castronuevo of Grade 8, who competed in the Cadet Kyorugi category, and Martheena Labso of Grade 5 competed in the Grade School Kyorugi category. Both advanced to the Quarterfinals, demonstrating grit, determination, and courage as they proudly represented Shekinah throughout the competition.

Their accomplishments embody the true spirit of a , pursuing excellence not only in academics and the arts, but also in sports through discipline, perseverance, and unwavering dedication.

Congratulations to all our athletes for representing Shekinah with excellence and for making our entire community proud! 💙🏆

Due to the continued heavy rains affecting our area, face-to-face classes at Shekinah Learning School will remain suspended tomorrow, Thursday, August 6, 2026, in accordance with the directive of Governor Abeng Remulla.

Let us all prioritize our safety while making the most of this time to stay prepared for the resumption of classes.

Empowering students to choose healthier options through creative, colourful stage representations and engaging activities that promote nutrition, wellness, and positive lifestyle choices.

At Shekinah Learning School, we encourage our students to develop healthy eating habits every day. Our daily lunch meals are thoughtfully prepared to include rice, a protein source such as meat, and vegetables or fruits to provide a balanced and nutritious diet.

We believe that Nutrition Day is more than just a one-day celebration. It is a reminder that healthy eating is a daily commitment and a lifelong habit. Through continuous education and positive practices, we inspire our students to make wise food choices that support their growth, learning, and overall well-being—not only during Nutrition Month, but every single day.
