From March 24 to 28, 2026, the College of Engineering proudly brought together two meaningful experiences in one unforgettable week, the SHS Immersion and PROXIMA: Engineers Exhibit βš™οΈβœ¨

3/3

For five days, senior high school students stepped beyond the classroom and immersed themselves in the world of engineering. Through bridge making, seminars, computations, and tower making, they explored different fields and discovered what it truly means to pursue this path. The immersion was not only about learning concepts, but also about experiencing the dedication, creativity, and passion that define every engineering journey.
At the same time, PROXIMA: Engineers Exhibit became a platform where innovation and ideas came to life. Each exhibit showcased the skills, knowledge, and hard work of the engineering community, giving students a glimpse of real world applications and future possibilities. It was inspiring to see curiosity grow into interest, and interest turn into motivation as participants engaged with every activity and display.
Beyond academics, the entire week created a space for connection, growth, and shared experiences. Students, facilitators, and faculty members built an environment filled with encouragement, collaboration, and discovery. The energy and enthusiasm of everyone involved made the event even more meaningful.
This successful event would not have been possible without the dedication of our faculty members, organizers, and student volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Your time, effort, and passion truly made everything possible.
To our SHS participants, thank you for your active participation and eagerness to learn. We hope this experience inspired you to dream bigger and take one step closer to becoming future engineers.
The SHS Immersion and PROXIMA: Engineers Exhibit were more than just events. They were a celebration of learning, innovation, and the bright future that lies ahead.
