𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 👫

On 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, General Luna Integrated National High School successfully conducted its 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐀𝐃) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 program, guided by Teacher In-Charge 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙂𝙖𝙮 𝙈. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖, together with our GAD Coordinator, Sir 𝘿𝙖𝙧𝙮𝙡 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤.

The sessions were delivered by Sir 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝘼. 𝙊𝙗𝙚𝙡, Ma'am 𝙈𝙖. 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘿. 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙫𝙖, and Ma'am 𝙇𝙖𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙎. 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣, who discussed key topics such as the Implementation of the PCW GFPS Functionality Tool, The Capabilities of GFPS Members and School GAD Coordinators in executing Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), RA 7877: Anti-Sexual Harassment Act, and Gender Discrimination and Gender Equality.

The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of gender-responsive practices and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to foster a safe, inclusive, and equitable school environment.

General Luna Integrated National High School successfully conducted its Career Guidance Symposium for Grade 9 and 10 students, implemented in coordination with the school’s 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐒. 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧, with the full support of the 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞, 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐲 𝐌. 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚.

The event featured guest speaker 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐅. 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐧, 𝐑𝐏𝐌, 𝐑𝐆𝐂, who delivered a highly informative and engaging discussion on various career pathways. Her talk enlightened students about 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙨, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙨 where they truly belong.

General Luna Integrated National High School (GLINHS) reaffirmed its commitment to promoting safety, respect, and equality as it officially joined the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC).

The campaign, observed annually from November 25 to December 12, aims to raise awareness on the urgent need to protect the rights and welfare of women and children.

Ma'am Mi-ay Maaño Esplana, Teacher In-Charge, led discussions highlighting the forms of violence affecting women and children, the importance of reporting abuse, and the role of young people in building a culture of respect and empathy. She also emphasized that VAWC is not only a national concern but also a community responsibility.

By participating in this national initiative, GLINHS continues to strengthen its mission of nurturing learners who are not only academically excellent but also socially aware and committed to positive change. 🧡🧡🧡

Our Barkada Kontra Droga officers recently held a two-day symposium in line with Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week focusing on strengthening awareness, responsibility, and unity among the youth in promoting a drug-free community. 🚫💊
