This week, let us focus on 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬.

In agriculture, every season reminds us that we do not control everything. We prepare the soil, plant the seeds, and give our best effort—but we still rely on the rain to fall, the sun to shine, and nature to do its part.

Humility teaches us to remain teachable, no matter how much we already know. It reminds us that every person has something to contribute, every experience has a lesson to offer, and every success is made possible by the support of others and the grace of God.

At FATCI, we believe that true leaders are lifelong learners. They listen before they speak, serve before they lead, and inspire not by seeking recognition, but by lifting others along the way.

Ngayong ipinagdiriwang natin ang 𝟰𝟭𝟳 𝘁𝗮𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻, hindi lamang natin ginugunita ang kasaysayan ng ating bayan—ipinagdiriwang natin ang 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗲ñ𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗶 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗶 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝘂𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼.

Mula sa ating mga ninuno na naglatag ng pundasyon ng Gasan, hanggang sa mga magsasaka, mangingisda, manggagawa, negosyante, g**o, kawani, kabataan, senior citizens, mga pamilya at bawat mamamayang araw-araw na nag-aambag sa ating komunidad—𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁. ❤️

Kaya napakaganda na ang pagdiriwang ngayong taon ay para sa buong bayan. Iba-iba man ang ating barangay, hanapbuhay, edad o papel sa komunidad, iisa ang bayang tinatawag nating atin.

Sa pagtunog ng batingaw, sama-sama tayong tinatawag—upang alalahanin ang 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻, ipagdiwang ang 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, at higit sa lahat, sama-samang likhain ang 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀.

Join the “Kamay at Pamaypay: Bamboo Fan Design Painting Competition” as part of the Youth Enterprise and Innovation Summit 2026 and in celebration of the Gasan Founding Anniversary! presented to you by the Department of Trade Industry Marinduque through Negosyo Center Gasan in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Gasan, Provincial Youth Development Office-Marinduque, Provincial Government of Marinduque and Fazendas Corporation.

🌱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!

FATCI successfully conducted the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 today, August 6, 2026, at Fazendas Farm, in partnership with the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗲, headed by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼-𝗨𝘆.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our resource speaker, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲, for generously sharing his knowledge, skills, and practical techniques with our participants. We also thank the dedicated staff of the Provincial Agricultural Office for their valuable assistance and support—with a special shout-out to Kuya Marvin and Kuya Ben for helping make the activity meaningful and successful.

Grafting and budding are valuable plant-propagation techniques that allow farmers to reproduce high-quality and desirable plant varieties. Compared with growing plants from seeds, these methods can shorten the waiting time before fruit production, promote uniform growth, preserve the best traits of a mother plant, and combine these with stronger or more disease-resistant rootstocks.

Through this hands-on training, our participants gained practical skills that can help improve plant survival, productivity, and the overall quality of their farms and nurseries.

At FATCI, we believe that every skill learned today is a seed planted for a more productive and sustainable tomorrow. 🌿
