💜 National Women’s Month Celebration 2026 💜

Tignahis proudly marked its Culminating Activity for National Women’s Month 2026 with a vibrant and meaningful Purple Celebration, honoring the strength, resilience, and remarkable contributions of women in the community.

One of the highlights of the program was the powerful and heartfelt Message of Empowerment delivered by Hon. Mary Kris O. Tolentino, Gasan Municipal Councilor, who reminded the school community that every woman carries within her the strength to rise, the courage to lead, and the voice to spark change. She encouraged everyone—women and allies alike—to continue breaking barriers, nurturing confidence, and uplifting one another. Her message served as an inspiring reminder that when women are empowered, communities flourish and society moves forward with unity and purpose.

Another equally impactful moment was Dr. Jimmy M. Romasanta's inspiring message, which emphasized the importance of creating inclusive environments where women can lead, grow, and inspire future generations. His words highlighted that empowering women is not only a celebration but also a continuous responsibility we all must uphold.

Despite everyone’s hectic schedules, this meaningful gathering was a beautiful reminder that there is always time and space to honor the women of our community—our modern-day babaylans, leaders, nurturers, and changemakers whose presence continues to shape society.

The celebration continued with the recognition of outstanding women leaders, dedicated mothers, committed teachers, and hardworking learners—honoring their vital roles in building a stronger, more inclusive, and compassionate community.

Adding prestige to the event was one of the esteemed Board of Judges, Ma’am Christine V. Magararu, Teacher VI from Tiguion Elementary School, whose presence truly reflected the spirit of an empowered woman—capable, confident, and ever-supportive of initiatives that uplift and empower others.

Participants also enjoyed engaging activities, including the Women’s Trivia Game and the highly anticipated mini pageant, “Girl for a Day,” where talent, creativity, confidence, and advocacy shined brightly. The winners are:
