Garcia-Hernandez High School successfully celebrated its Intramurals 2026 on July 18, 2026, bringing together students, teachers, and stakeholders in a vibrant showcase of athletic excellence, teamwork, and school spirit under the theme, "Fly High, Garcia-High: Soaring Beyond Limits through Unity, Sportsmanship, and Excellence."
The day commenced with a colorful parade featuring the school's four competing teams: Golden Phoenix, Emerald Eagles, Azure Warriors, and Crimson Titans, as they proudly marched through the community, displaying their unity, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Following the parade, the school held a simpler yet meaningful Mr. and Ms. GHHS Intramurals 2026, highlighting the confidence, sportsmanship, and school pride of the student representatives from each team. The streamlined program reflected the school's commitment to practicality while maintaining one of the most anticipated traditions of the annual intramurals.
After the opening program, the games officially began as student-athletes proceeded to their respective competition venues. Various sporting events were simultaneously conducted at the East Ulbujan Covered Court, West Ulbujan Covered Court, and GHCES Plaza, where participants showcased their athletic skills, determination, and teamwork in pursuit of victory.
Adding excitement to both the opening and closing programs were raffle draws, where fortunate students received essential school supplies and other useful items generously donated by the event's sponsors. These prizes served not only as rewards but also as reminders of the strong support extended by the school's partners and stakeholders in making the celebration more meaningful.
The intramurals concluded with the awarding of winners and recognition of the remarkable performances of all participating teams. In her closing remarks, Ms. Dulce G. Ladaga, School PESS Coordinator, commended the students for demonstrating discipline, camaraderie, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. She also challenged the student-athletes to continue honing their skills and to give their best as they prepare to represent the school in the upcoming athletic meets.
