Sumaoy Integrated School Concludes 3-Day School-Based Training on Dynamic Learning Program Implementation for Pilot Schools in SDO Camarines Sur

June 25, 2025 - Sumaoy Integrated School successfully concluded its intensive 3-Day School-Based Training on the Dynamic Learning Program (DLP) Implementation for pilot schools under the Schools Division Office of Camarines Sur. The training, held at Villa Rosita Hotel, Naga City, aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and practical strategies necessary for effective DLP integration in classroom instruction.

The final day of the training featured the last set of insightful sessions and workshops designed to reinforce teachers' capacity to deliver independent, student-centered learning.

Session 3B, titled “Preparing the Teachers’ and Class Program,” was facilitated by Mr. Louie M. Ilo, who guided participants in designing effective teacher and class schedules aligned with DLP principles. This was followed by Session 4 on “Learning Assessment with the Dynamic Learning Program Framework,” also delivered by Mr. Ilo. He emphasized assessment methods that support continuous and reflective learning among students.

To bring theory into practice, Workshop 3: Workplace Application Planning was conducted by Mrs. Jonna B. Azañes-Toledo. The workshop allowed teachers to craft action plans to apply DLP strategies in their respective classrooms.

The training's Closing Ceremony was graced by Mrs. Judith B. Maigue, Ed.D., Public Schools District Supervisor, who commended the commitment of the teachers and the school's initiative in piloting the DLP. In addition, Mr. Gilbert A. Filipino, Principal I of Calabanga National Agro-Industrial High School, visited the last day of the training and shared an inspiring message, encouraging educators to become agents of innovation in education.

The 3-day activity ended with renewed enthusiasm among teachers to implement the Dynamic Learning Program, geared toward promoting independent learning and academic excellence in public schools.

"Learning never ends—it only grows deeper with every shared experience. Let this be the beginning of better teaching, stronger commitment, and lasting impact."

Day 2 Highlights of Teachers’ Training on CVIF – DLP Implementation: Focusing on DI, SEL, and Independent Learning through Parallel Classes

Sumaoy Integrated School, June 24, 2025 — The second day of the Training of Teachers on CVIF – Dynamic Learning Program (DLP) Implementation continued to energize and equip educators with valuable strategies and insights aimed at enhancing teaching practices and student learning outcomes.

The day opened with an engaging session facilitated by Mr. Louie Morena Ilo, who led Session 2B: Integration of Differentiated Instruction (DI) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in Writing Learning Activity Sheets. Mr. Ilo emphasized the importance of understanding students' diverse learning needs and emotional contexts. He demonstrated practical ways to embed DI strategies in activity sheets while maintaining the structured nature of the DLP. Participants were guided through real-life examples and were encouraged to develop LAS templates that reflect inclusivity and empathy.

In the afternoon, the focus shifted to Session 3A: Independent Learning System Facilitation through Parallel Classes, led by Mrs. Jonna B. Azañes-Toledo. Mrs. Toledo discussed how parallel classes under the DLP model foster learner autonomy and accountability. She shared best practices in managing independent learners while still providing support and scaffolding where needed. Her session highlighted the role of the teacher as a learning facilitator and how classroom time can be optimized through strategic scheduling and content delivery.

Both sessions sparked active participation, with teachers reflecting on how the concepts align with their current practices and how they can enhance them using the DLP framework. The day concluded with a collaborative workshop where teachers began drafting differentiated LAS and designing mock parallel class plans.

As the training progresses, teachers are becoming more confident in their understanding of the CVIF-DLP and excited about the possibilities it brings to their classrooms. Day 3 promises more hands-on learning and peer sharing as the program deepens its focus on implementation strategies.
