As a testament to its dedication to fiscal transparency and efficiency, Juan R. Liwag Memorial High School - Senior High School conducted its highly successful Annual Physical Inventory Count on September 22, 2026. This year, the entire school underwent a very systematic administrative process to assess, tally, and record all government-provided properties and learning materials employed throughout its different academic tracks and strands.
In the full-day endeavor, inventory committees, property custodians, and administrative members systematically carried out their tasks across all school facilities. They carefully checked classrooms, specialized laboratories, computer rooms, library resource centers, and administrative offices. They compared their current property cards to the physical existence, condition, and location of thousands of properties including costly technological devices and regular classroom fixtures based on DepEd standards.
According to the school administrators and property management coordinators, annual physical inventories are not only regulatory requirements but more importantly, important to ensure student safety and welfare. Through this process, the need to repair or replace any faulty equipment is identified right away in order to provide the senior high school students with a safe and fully equipped learning environment.
