Juan, a young boy carrying the weight of his family’s hardships, finds a wallet that could save his sick parents, Nanay Beth and Tatay Berto. But when faced with the chance to choose between desperation and doing what is right, Juan discovers that true wealth is found in honesty and kindness.

Everyone Made a Mistake 🎬✨

We all make mistakes, whether big or small, intentional or unintentional. Sometimes, our mistakes become the reason why we feel embarrassed, judged, or afraid of what others might think. But behind every mistake is a lesson that helps us understand ourselves and the people around us better.

This short film tells a story about how easily people can judge someone without knowing the whole situation. Mistakes do not define who a person truly is. Instead of laughing and judging others, let’s choose to be kind and give others a chance to do better.

Be kind, trust others, and let people be who they truly want to be.

🎬 DUM SPIRO, SPERO follows Arkin, a student who becomes the target of suspicion after his classmates believe he reported their bullying. When Alexis confronts him, Jean steps in and refuses to let him be intimidated. As Arkin and Jean spend time together, she encourages him to stand up for himself and not let others look down on him.

The film explores bullying, courage, friendship, and the importance of standing up for yourself. Arkin begins the story nervous and unsure, but gradually gains confidence through Jean’s encouragement. Although the conflict with Alexis is not completely resolved, Arkin begins to understand that he can stand up for himself. DUM SPIRO, SPERO means “While I breathe, I hope,” reflecting the hope and courage at the heart of the story.

¡Hola, Jrlians! ¿Cómo estás?😊 How have your first 2 weeks of school been, bien or mal? Whatever the case, we hope you’re adapting and doing very well.💞

We all know being back at school means enduring another year of tiredness, lack of sleep, cramming, and especially academic pressure. But we don’t have to focus just on the negative side. We still have to look on the brighter side. Even though we’re facing another year of obstacles and challenges, at least we have our friends, teachers, and other students who will help us make this year more bearable and more memorable.

With that being said, our school wouldn’t have come this far without strong leadership. Without leaders and rules, things would fall into chaos. And every leader should have the right character to deserve the position.

Now, our SPFL family saw that character in each of our newly elected officers. ❤️‍🩹

So let us introduce to you, the homeroom officers for School Year 2026–2027! 💫

Kidding aside, congratulations to everyone! 🎉 Now that the second quarter has ended, it's time to face another challenge and journey, the third quarter. Before that, let's celebrate 🥳 and acknowledge the students who persevere and push through it all. 💫 We all know how hard it is to survive each day, the activities, the quizzes, the performance tasks, and to add to that, the pressure you have to carry because of the expectations you have to meet. ❤️‍🩹 Despite all the hardships, you showed resilience, dedication, and heart. Every late-night study session, every moment of doubt, and every challenge you overcame brought you one step closer to who you are becoming. You should be proud of yourselves, not just for the grades you earned, but for the strength, discipline, and growth you demonstrated throughout the quarter.

As we prepare to enter the third quarter, let’s carry the same determination and positive spirit forward. Remember that each new chapter is another chance to improve, to rise, and to shine even brighter. Keep believing in your abilities, keep striving for your goals, and most of all, keep supporting one another.

And to those who didn't make it, don't worry, you still have every opportunity to improve and excel.🫂 Just because you didn't achieve it this quarter, doesn't mean you are incapable of reaching it in the future.

¡Hola, JRLians! Congratulation for all of us who made it through the first grading of the school year 2025-2026! Whether you aced it or need to work a bit harder, today's results are just a stepping stone to our journey of learning and growth.

No matter what your grade or average is, be proud of yourself because you showed up, you tried, and you're still standing! Passing is not just enough; it's a milestone that shows you're on the right track. And for those who made it to the honors list, huge congrats! Your hard work received it's bonus!

But here's the thing, it's not about being the best or comparing yourself to others. It's about being better than you were yesterday. Each of us has our unique talents and skills, and we all learn at our own pace. So, don't be too hard on yourself if you didn't get the grades you wanted. Instead, use this as fuel to ignite your passion for learning.

If you feel like you can do better, then let's make a promise to ourselves to give it our all in the second grading. Let's strive to be our best selves, not for the grades, but for the knowledge and wisdom we gain along the way.

Now for the students who gave their very best to be part of the honor list, huge congratulations to all of you! This achievement proves that no matter how hard it is, as long as you trust the Lord that you can do it with him, you will succeed. May each one of you use this milestone for the better and to be a guide to others. You all deserved the recognition you got today. Again, congratulations, achievers!
