Juan R. Liwag Memorial High Schools’ Junior girls overwhelmed their Seniors after knocking up a 25-5, 25-8 finish in the 2026 Women’s Volleyball Cluster Meet yesterday at the Umali Gymnasium.

JHS’ Jenela Combe ruled with six services aces while Arriane Dionisio contributed three and two flawless drop balls, clearing their path to triumph.

Despite the age gap, the juniors paved their way with an 18-0 run in the first set and 11 consecutive points built by drops and aces in the second set, both leading to their victory.

Happy Birthday, Ma’am! 🎉

02/19/26

We’ll be honest… this greeting is a bit last minute. 😅 But our appreciation for you isn’t. Thank you for putting up with us every day, the noise, the times when we leave the room a mess, the endless questions, and all the “Ma’am, can we extend?” requests.

We really do appreciate your patience and the effort you put into teaching us.
Thank you for reminding us to do better, for calling us out when we need it, and for actually caring whether we learn something or not. Even on the days we seem uninterested or tired, you still keep going, and that doesn’t go unnoticed🤍.

Today, we hope you got a break from grading, reminders, and repeating instructions. You deserve it🩵.

Happiest Birthday, Ma’am Afable!!🥳
