CNHS Marks 17th Founding Anniversary with Induction and Acquaintance Party
Cagamutan National High School (CNHS) held a joint Induction and Acquaintance Party at the Cagamutan Plaza in celebration of its 17th Founding Anniversary. The event featured the oath taking of classroom, club, HRPTA, and SPTA officers, as well as the Search for the Most Popular Parents, drawing students, parents, and guests to the celebration.
The program opened with the Philippine National Anthem, led by the CNHS Glee Club, followed by the Doxology, led by Ma. Lilac Cases, and the Division Hymn. Ma'am Vivian O. Aboy then delivered the welcome address, after which the classroom, club, and PTA officers formally took their oath.
An intermission number by the CNHS Dance Troupe followed the oath taking. Guest speaker SB Member Hon. Renie Rebay then delivered his message, followed by another intermission number by the CNHS Dance Troupe.
The SK Federated President HON. Eddie D. Pelebergo Jr. gave his remarks, and Mr. Noel P. Nebrida, the Ingoing SPTA President, spoke on the topic of students' discipline. This was followed by a special dance number performed by the teachers, which was well received by the audience.
The celebration then proceeded with the Search for the Most Popular Parents, complete with a coronation and royal walk. Roslyn Capoquian Pelembergo was crowned as Most Popular Parent 2026, after which the School Head of Cagamutan National High School, Mr. Ricky Rebong, delivered his acknowledgement.
The CNHS Dance Troupe followed with a tribute folk dance, with songs performed by Mrs. Roselyn Julgan, a parent, and a duo by Sir Enrick Greg C. Castillo and Ma'am Clariza Mae L. Gerale. This was followed by the grade level dance contest, won by Grade 9. The celebration ended with Curacha dances joined by guests and students.
