📰 Official Scout News | Rizal Day Commemoration 🇵🇭⚜️
The KAB Scouts and Boy Scouts of the Greyhounds Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Unit participated in the Rizal Day Commemoration held on December 30 at Rizal Park, Naga City.
The activity forms part of the requirements for the Scouts’ merit badges and rank advancement, and likewise serves as an important learning experience that highlights the enduring relevance of Dr. José Rizal in the lives of the new generation.
Dr. Rizal’s ideals—love of country, moral courage, intellectual discipline, and peaceful advocacy for justice—continue to guide today’s youth in becoming responsible, informed, and principled citizens.
Through his life and works, young Scouts are reminded that true patriotism is expressed through service, integrity, and lawful means rather than violence.
By taking part in this commemoration, the Scouts strengthened their sense of nationalism, civic responsibility, and commitment to the values embodied in the Scout Oath and Law. 🇵🇭⚜️
