📍Today marks the 128th commemoration and celebration of the INDEPENDENCE DAY of the PHILIPPINES. 🇵🇭

❓DID YOU KNOW
The Declaration of the Philippine Independence was held on June 12, 1898 at the ancestral home of the former president Don Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite. The declaration was written by Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista, who was known as Aguinaldo’s war counselor. The day also marked the official unfurling of the Philippine Flag, which was sewn by Marcela Agoncillo, Lorenza Agoncillo, and Delfina Herboza in Hong Kong. It is also the same day were the Marcha Nacional Filipina (now known as Lupang Hinirang) be officially heard and played.

After declaring the Philippines free from the 333-year Spanish tyranny, the revolutionary government held numerous elections from June 23 to September 10, 1898 to form a national legislature (presided by the Aguinaldo as the president of the Revolutionary Government of the Philippines). From there, a National Assembly was made which consisted of representatives from different provinces and territories. The assembly was later known and declared to be the Malolos Congress, a monumental achievement for the Philippine governance, enforcing the declared independence.

Upon the creation of the Malolos Congress, the ratification of the declaration of the Philippine Independence on September 29, 1898 was held to formally recognize and legitimize it as a legally recognized act of the state. Furthermore, it was significantly proved to be the day of Independence when Apolinario Mabini (Utak ng Himagsikan) became the constitutional adviser of the Revolutionary Government, making his works paved way to the creation of the Malolos Constitution. The Malolos Constitution of 1899 made the Philippines to be recognized as the First Constitutional and Democratic Republic of Asia.

Up until to this day, we celebrate the freedom that we obtained from our ancestors who ignited the torch of Philippine nationalism back then. Their efforts and sacrifice gave birth to the sovereignty, freedom, and nationalism we express to our beloved Philippines today. Therefore, we must use that freedom to do the RIGHT thing.

To all our dearest students, followers, and applicants… 🧡

All DIPLOMA PROGRAM Applicants for the S.Y. 2026-2027, who have taken the ENTRANCE EXAM and who have been INTERVIEWED, is required by the administration to attend FACE-to-FACE meeting on June 11, 2026 at the New Academic Building of the School. 🙏🏻

The applicants are also mandated to wear proper attire (such as White T-Shirts, Black Pants, and Formal/Rubber Shoes) following the Dress Code Policy of our school. Bring your own ball pens as well. 📝
