UNLEASHING POTENTIAL: EXCELLENCE IN SPORTS AND THE ARTS

"Creativity is intelligence having fun, and sport is spirit in motion." — Albert Einstein

This quote reminds us that both artistic expression and athletic pursuit allow young people to unleash their full potential through dedication and passion. The recent general orientation for our specialized school programs directly embodies this idea by laying a strong foundation for both talent development and personal growth. By establishing clear rules and setting ambitious goals, our school is guiding these talented students toward discipline, creativity, and teamwork.

On September 23, 2026, our school successfully conducted the General Orientation for the Special Program in Sports (SPS) and the Special Program in the Arts (SPA). The event kicked off with an inspiring opening program where administrators outlined the general policies and implementing guidelines for both tracks. Following the main assembly, student-athletes and student-artists gathered into specialized sub-groups to dive deeper into the specific rules, expectations, and safety regulations unique to their chosen sports discipline or art form.

A key highlight discussed during the orientation was the implementation of cross-training initiatives, designed to build versatility, strength, and broader skill sets among all enrolled students. We are incredibly excited to see our young athletes and artists embark on this journey of hard work and self-discovery. Let us all show our support as they practice, create, and strive for excellence in every field and stage!

IGNITE THE FLAME, UNLEASH THE GAME
"Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts." — Dan Gable
This timeless quote reminds us that the true essence of sports lies far beyond the medals and trophies we take home. Athletic events are designed to test our grit, build our character, and bring out the best in every participant. As our student-athletes step onto the playing field, they embody this exact spirit of perseverance, hard work, and school pride.
The excitement officially filled the air on September 9, 2026, as Basa Air Base National High School held the grand opening ceremony of Intramurals 2026 at the SHS Ground. Students, teachers, guests, and athletes gathered in high spirits to mark the beginning of this highly anticipated annual sports meet. The energetic crowd and lively cheers set a vibrant and inspiring tone for all the games and competitions scheduled in the coming days.
This memorable event was made possible through the dedicated leadership of Principal Arlene B. Julian, MAPEH Master Teacher Charito T. Baydal, and Sports Coordinator Mary Rose M. Beltran. Together with the school faculty and organizers, they ensured a smooth and meaningful program for the entire school community. Let us all show our support, cheer for our respective teams, and uphold sportsmanship throughout Intramurals 2026!
