NISU Main also celebrates Regie Villa Pancho, who ranked 7th with 88.00%, and Aleanna Marie Gulapo Pancho, who placed 9th with 87.50%.

Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) is currently conducting its Academic Council Meeting today at the NISU Mini-Theatre, bringing together university officials and key members of the academic community.

The meeting was attended by NISU officials, college deans, department chairpersons, and faculty members, who came together to discuss important academic matters, institutional concerns, and initiatives supporting the university’s ongoing commitment to quality education.

The Academic Council serves as an important venue for collaboration, consultation, and collective decision-making among NISU’s academic leaders and faculty. 🎓 NISU JOINS HANDOG NG PANGULO 2026!

On September 14, 2026, Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) joined the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and fellow State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Handog ng Pangulo 2026 held at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, Iloilo City.

As part of the celebration, NISU participated in the simultaneous Exhibit Fair, showcasing the University’s academic programs, student services, opportunities, and various initiatives. The NISU team engaged with students, prospective learners, parents, and other stakeholders by providing information, responding to inquiries, and introducing the diverse educational opportunities available at the University.

The event served as a meaningful avenue for NISU, alongside fellow SUCs, to bring higher education opportunities closer to the community, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and promote accessible and quality education.

🌏 NISU Joins FLAIR Visayas Leg 2026! 🇵🇭

Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) proudly participated in the Filipino Leaders in Advancing International Reputation (FLAIR) Visayas Leg 2026, held on September 8–9, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City.

Organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through its International Affairs Service (CHED-IAS), the two-day gathering brought together higher education institutions across the Visayas to strengthen internationalization, global engagement, and institutional reputation.

NISU’s participation underscores its continuing commitment to advancing internationalization, global visibility, academic collaboration, and quality higher education, while strengthening its institutional strategies toward greater participation in the global higher education community.

Through FLAIR Visayas 2026, NISU continues to connect, collaborate, and learn with fellow higher education institutions and internationalization leaders as it works toward a more globally engaged and internationally recognized university.

🌏 NISU Strengthens Its Commitment to Global Excellence, Sustainability, and SDG Integration!

Northern Iloilo State University continues to advance its journey toward greater international visibility, global engagement, sustainable development, and institutional excellence.

Shown in these photos are the University Directors and Campus Directors for Research and Development and Extension Services, together with the International Relations Officer (IRO) and Focal Person for Internationalization, during a strategic meeting focused on strengthening institutional collaboration and preparing the University for participation in international rankings and assessments.

As part of its continuing internationalization and sustainability initiatives, NISU is setting its sights on participation in:

A key focus of the discussions is the integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the University’s research, extension, academic, community engagement, governance, and other institutional initiatives. This approach will help ensure that NISU’s programs and projects not only contribute to institutional development but also demonstrate measurable contributions to sustainable development and global challenges.

The meeting provided an avenue to discuss data preparation, documentation, research and extension outputs, sustainability initiatives, innovation, SDG-related programs, institutional impact, and other evidence that may contribute to NISU’s performance in global rankings.

Through stronger collaboration among the University’s research, extension, academic, and internationalization units, NISU moves forward with a shared commitment to creating meaningful impact—locally, nationally, and globally.

🌏✨ NISU CELEBRATES ASEAN MONTH 2026! 🇦🇸🇧🇳🇰🇭🇮🇩🇱🇦🇲🇾🇲🇲🇵🇭🇸🇬🇹🇭🇻🇳

This August, Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) celebrated ASEAN Month through an exciting and interactive ASEAN Stamp Card Challenge! 🎉

Students embarked on a fun-filled journey across different offices of the University, with each participating office assigned to represent one of the ASEAN Member States. 🇦🇸🌏

At every stop, students took on trivia questions, quizzes, activities, and exciting challenges designed to test and expand their knowledge about the assigned ASEAN country—from its culture and traditions to its history, people, and unique identity. 📚🎯

More than just collecting stamps, the challenge encouraged students to learn, explore, engage, and appreciate the diversity and unity of Southeast Asia. 🤝💙

After successfully completing the challenge, participating students received Certificates of Completion and small tokens of appreciation for their enthusiasm and participation. 🏆🎓

Through initiatives like the ASEAN Stamp Card Challenge, NISU continues to promote global awareness, cultural appreciation, and meaningful student engagement, while strengthening the spirit of “One ASEAN, One Community.” 🌏🤝
