As part of the United Nations Celebrations, we at Cervantes National High School are excited to present Mr. & Ms. UN 2025 candidates. This event highlights not only creativity and expression but also the spirit of unity and global awareness among our students. 💖

WHAT'S NEW? 🤔💭❔

CERVANTES NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS PORTFOLIO DAY, GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AND CARD DAY

Cervantes National High School successfully conducted its Portfolio Day for the First Quarter of School Year 2025–2026, held simultaneously with the Second General Assembly and Card Day on August 30, 2025.

The event was monitored by the Division of Escalante through Ms. Marivic Portunes, EPS in TLE, who supervised the conduct of activities and acknowledged the efforts of both teachers and students in showcasing their academic progress.

During the General Assembly, Mr. Renonie Omay presented updates to parents regarding the school’s budget status, students’ academic performance, upcoming school programs, and the continuous efforts of the faculty to provide quality education. He also encouraged stronger collaboration between parents and teachers to further support students in their learning journey.

The day served as an opportunity for parents to witness their children’s outputs, better understand the school’s direction, and engage in meaningful dialogue with teachers.

The successful event highlighted the school’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and holistic development of every Cervantes NHS learner.

CERVANTES NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL SHOWCASES TALENTS IN DIVISION TECHNOLYMPICS 2025

Cervantes National High School proudly participated in the Division Technolympics 2025 held at Mabini National High School on August 27, 2025, competing in various categories such as Nail Art, TVL SMAW, Landscaping, and Techno Quiz.

Highlighting the school’s achievements, Joey Villagante and Kris Bayawa, coached by Ms. Lovely Despair, won 3rd Place in Landscaping Installation. Meanwhile, Edrian Aporador, coached by Ms. Alma Bintad, secured 5th Place in the Techno Quiz.

On the following day, August 28, 2025, Cervantes NHS also took part in the Tour Guiding Competition as part of the Division Buwan ng Wika Culmination. The school was represented by Rhian Francisco, under the mentorship of Ms. Melody Maña.

The participation of Cervantes NHS in the Division Technolympics and Buwan ng Wika events reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing skills, talents, and cultural pride among its students.

19 K*K 70 Sagay Chapter Joins Brigada Eskwela Efforts 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Cervantes NHS continues to receive overwhelming support as the 19 K*K 70 Sagay Chapter officially joined the Brigada Eskwela campaign. With the help and coordination of Sir Edwin Enso, the group contributed their time, energy, and manpower in preparing the school for the opening of classes. Their presence exemplifies true volunteerism and community spirit, reinforcing the importance of shared responsibility in shaping a better learning environment for students.
