Joint Board Resolution no. 9 serves to inform all PNUans that the position of Chief of Staff of the Dagitab Seniors’ Committee is vacant due to the resignation of Xavier Francis R. Jaduclo following incongruent work commitments in and outside school. The position will no longer be filled as the school year has ended.

ANG G**O NG BAYAN, NGAYON AY LUMALABAN!

LOOK: Batch Dagitab staged a lightning rally at the close of PNU Manila’s 118th Commencement Exercises, Aug. 14, demanding immediate action on chronic issues in education, including shortages of conducive classrooms, overcrowded facilities, and higher wages for educators.

Participating graduates, however, were denied access to microphones, even though university personnel used them to make announcements during the rally.

The Facebook livestream on PNU’s official page was also cut short prior to the rally.

Bilang tugon at mensahe sa ngalan ng Class of 2026, nagbigay ng makabuluhang talumpati si Bb. Mary Grace C. Magbanua, Magna Cum Laude mula sa Bachelor in Physical and Health Education at Class Valedictorian.

Hinikayat niya ang mga kapwa nagsipagtapos na maging higit sa normal sa aspeto ng pag-iisip, pagtingin sa mga suliranin, at higit sa lahat, sa paglilingkod.

Ating balikan ang isang bahagi ng naging hamon ng Pangulo ng Pamantasan, Dr. Bert J. Tuga, sa Class of 2026 sa idinaos na Ika-118 na Seremonya ng Pagtatapos ngayong ika-14 ng Agosto 2026 sa Philippine International Convention Center.

Pinaalalahanan ni Dr. Tuga ang mga nagsipagtapos na gawing gabay ang pilosopiya ng pamantasan sa kanilang pagsulong bilang mga g**o ng hinaharap.

Sa kabila ng mga hindi inaasahang pagbabago sa iskedyul, mataimtim pa ring naisagawa ang Baccalaureate Program kaninang hapon, ika-13 ng Agosto 2026, sa Gymnasium ng Pamantasan.

Isinagawa ito sa pamamaraang hybrid, kung saan dumalo ang mga magsisipagtapos gamit ang Zoom, samantalang ang mga kawani, kaguruan, at mga opisyal ng PNU ay pisikal na nakiisa sa nasabing programa.

Nagsilbing punong tagapagsalita si Fr. Bernardo R. Collera, SVD, RGC, ang School Director ng Saint Jude Catholic School.

Ating panoorin ang ilang mahahalagang yugto ng programa.

LIVE | Baccalaureate Program 2026

The Philippine Normal University formally presents the Baccalaureate Program of the 118th Commencement Exercises, to be held on August 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the PNU Gymnasium and via Zoom. This solemn gathering of thanksgiving, reflection, and prayer marks an important occasion for the graduating students as they prepare for the culmination of their academic journey.

With the theme β€œShaping Minds, Leading Futures,” the Baccalaureate Program honors the graduates’ perseverance, growth, and transformation throughout their years at the University. It likewise reaffirms the values of faith, compassion, excellence, resilience, and service that shall guide them as future educators and leaders.

The program will be graced by Fr. Bernardo R. Collera, SVD, RGC, as Guest of Honor and Speaker, who will share an inspiring message on embracing one’s vocation with humility, purpose, integrity, and a commitment to service.

The Philippine Normal University invites the PNU community to join this significant occasion as we offer thanksgiving and prayer for our graduating students and the journey that lies ahead.
