Ad Astra: The Benildean Yearbook DLS-CSB’s official student organization tasked to produce the college yearbook.

First published in 2000, the College’s yearbook captures the hopes and dreams, and treasured memories of each year’s graduating batch. It showcases the graduates’ profiles and photos, features coverages of momentous events, and includes messages from administrators, mentors, and friends. Ad Astra reflects the aspirations of Benildean graduates as they blaze to new heights in their pursuit of excellence and passion in the world.

Animo, Benilde! 💚🌟

Earning 53 recognitions, student journalists from the Student Publications Unit (SPU) and student-artists from the Benilde Culture and Arts Unit (CAU) were proudly recognized for their entries in the 12th Philippine Student Quill Awards on Aug. 13, released via the official International Association of Business Communicators' (IABC) website. Benilde is vying for another School of the Year title following the College’s three-peat victory in the past iterations of IABC's awards program.

The awarding ceremony set on Aug. 27 at the Solaire Resort, Parañaque will reveal and confer the School of the Year distinction alongside the Top Awards across all categories.

This World Photo Day, we recognize photos as a powerful visual language. Photography remains just as relevant today as it continues to communicate important events through documentation—keeping stories from being forgotten.

When was the last time you truly slowed down?

Today is a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and give yourself permission to rest. Relaxation may look different for everyone; whether it’s enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, listening to your favorite music, taking a walk, or simply doing nothing for a while.

We encourage everyone to take this day as a moment to slow down, recharge, and appreciate the little things.

“May we follow the precepts that mark the Christian life and the religious life just like Saint Benilde Romançon.”—Rev. Antonio Tobias, D.D., Bishop Emeritus of Novaliches

The Benildean community gathered at the Augusto-Rosario Gonzales (ARG) Theater, Taft Campus today, Aug. 13, to celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Benilde Romançon. The mass honored his life as a humble servant who devoted his time as an instrument of peace in the world.

During the mass, donation jars were passed to attendees in support of the College’s mission for inclusion and diversity.

Scapular Medals were also given to the Benildean Reflection Writers and Benildean Vocation Team as a blessing and token of gratitude for their service and devotion to the Benildean community.

May we walk in the footsteps of Saint Benilde Romançon as we honor this day to become ordinary people who do things extraordinarily well!

Animo Benilde!

Ad Astra is closed from Aug. 10 to 22 due to Finals week and in observance of the College’s Term Break.

All office operations, including yearbook and GPP claiming, are postponed until further notice. All emails will be accommodated with delayed responses during this time.

"Villa Valenzuela: Echoes of Tomorrow," an exhibit organized by BS Interior Design (BS-IND) students, will officially open on August 11 to 15 at the 7/F hallway, Design and Arts (D+A) Campus, featuring curated works from students of the Heritage of Philippine Interiors, Preservation and Conservation (INDPIPC) course.

Alongside works detailing the historical significance and adaptive reuse potential of Villa Valenzuela, an ancestral site in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, the exhibit will also highlight works from the Archer Class of 2T A.Y. 25-26, recounting the heritage site from the time it was built up until its current condition.
