We are pleased to share another research study from the National Poison Management and Control Center: "Correlation between Blood Ethylenethiourea and Thyroid Gland Disorders among Banana Plantation Workers in the Philippines." 🍌🔬

This study, authored by our esteemed colleagues Lynn Panganiban, Nelia Cortes-Maramba, Carissa Dioquino, Maria Lurenda Suplido, Herbert Ho, Ana Francisco-Rivera, and Ailyn Manglicmot-Yabes, explores the potential link between exposure to ethylenethiourea, a breakdown product of certain pesticides, and thyroid gland disorders in banana plantation workers.
