𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗣𝗜 𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🥧

Pi Day is celebrated worldwide every March 14 (3/14). The Greek letter π represents a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, approximately 3.14159.

The day gives math lovers a chance to celebrate by reciting its endless digits, sharing their passion for mathematics, and enjoying pie.

So far, π has been calculated to over 50 trillion decimal places. Because it is both irrational and transcendental, its digits go on forever without repeating or forming a pattern.

Today also marks the anniversaries of renowned physicists, Albert Einstein (birth in 1879) and Stephen Hawking (death in 2018).
