It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Immaculada S. Gumboc, Retired Master Teacher I of the Mathematics Department of Manila Science High School.

For many years, Ma'am Gumboc faithfully served the Manila Science High School community with dedication, integrity, and excellence. More than an outstanding mathematics educator, she was a mentor, a colleague, and a guiding presence whose passion for teaching and genuine care for her students left an enduring mark on generations of Mascians.

Her remarkable legacy lives on in the countless lives she shaped, the values she exemplified, and the knowledge she so generously shared. She will always be remembered with gratitude, admiration, and affection by those who had the privilege of knowing and learning from her.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, former students, and colleagues. May they find strength and comfort in the cherished memories they hold of her.

May she rest in God's eternal peace. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

As part of its 125th Anniversary celebration, the Supreme Court will hold the culminating activity of the Model Supreme Court (Model SC).
After weeks of preparation and training, senior high school students from Manila Science High School will simulate oral arguments on a case of public interest and a mock press conference, showcasing how cases are heard and how Court decisions are communicated to the public and reported by the media.
On July 13, 2026, the Court will witness these bright young minds step into the roles of advocates, justices, court communicators, and journalists in the culminating activity of the Model SC.

SCHOOL ADVISORY
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TEMPORARY MORNING VEHICLE ENTRANCE ARRANGEMENT FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2026–2027

To help manage the flow of students and prevent congestion at the school gates during morning arrival, all teachers and employees bringing private vehicles are advised to use Gate 1 (near COP) as the designated entry point every morning.
A security personnel will be stationed at the opposite gate to assist and open the gate for employees arriving in vehicles.
Please note that starting at 7:30 A.M., the regular traffic arrangement will resume, and all personnel may again use the usual entrance through Gate 2.
This temporary arrangement is being implemented as a preventive measure to:
• Minimize congestion at Gate 2 during student entry;
• Ensure a smoother and safer arrival process for our learners and personnel; and
• Avoid long queues at the guard post and school gates, consistent with the best practices being observed in schools.

This Office respectfully requests everyone's cooperation and understanding in observing this traffic scheme for the safety, security, and convenience of our school community

The Manila Science High School community expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Andrei Nicolai E. Pacheco for his dedicated service, guidance, and unwavering support as our Public Schools District Supervisor. As he embarks on a new chapter as Chief Education Supervisor, SDO Las Piñas, we wish him continued success and God’s abundant blessings. Your leadership and collaborative spirit have helped strengthen the Batis ng Diwa of MaSci, fostering partnerships that continue to inspire excellence and shared purpose.

At the same time, we warmly welcome Dr. Maricel A. Basa as the new Public Schools District Supervisor assigned to Manila Science High School. We look forward to working closely with you as we continue advancing quality education, innovation, and the tradition of excellence that defines MaSci.
