: Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of all classes in all levels in public and private schools on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, consistent weather models indicate moderate to heavy, at times intense rainfall expected throughout the day.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

Saklaw ng suspensiyon ang kinder hanggang senior high school, gayundin ang mga kolehiyo at unibersidad, sa parehong pampubliko at pribadong paaralan.

Ayon sa alkalde, layunin ng suspensiyon na mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga Manileño, lalo na ang mga mag-aaral at mga g**o, na masubaybayan ang SONA ng Pangulo.

The College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) of TUP-Manila successfully conducted its 3-Day Capability Training-Workshop on Curriculum Review and Revision on June 22, 23, and 25, 2026.

🤝 Bringing together university officials, curriculum experts, department heads, program coordinators, and faculty members, the workshop provided a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas, review curricula, and strengthen academic programs for SY 2026–2027.

Through collaboration, curriculum mapping, benchmarking, Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) enhancement, and strategic planning, participants developed updated curriculum maps, enhanced course syllabi, revised program outcomes, and implementation plans aligned with current educational standards and industry needs.

💡 More than a workshop, it was a shared learning experience that celebrated collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in shaping quality education.

💙 Together, we continue learning, growing, and building better learning experiences—one step at a time.
