🍃🌱 United Community for a Greener Tomorrow

On July 17, 2025, a powerful movement began as students, teachers, and community leaders joined forces for a meaningful Tree Planting and Growing Activity. This initiative was led by the Youth for Environmental Science Organization (YES-O), along with the SSLG, BKB Club and the Science Club. The theme of the event was “Planting Trees for a Better World, Building Hopes for a Sustainable Future.”

♥️ With hope in their hearts and a willingness to help, the community turned a shared vision into action. This effort showed that real change starts when we work together.

This event was made possible through the generous support of Ma’am Minie Paguigan (CENR Officer of Solana, Cagayan) who provided the seedlings that will grow into symbols of our commitment to the environment. We also thank Sir Alex Carodan Jr. (BKB Adviser) for his strong support and leadership in organizing this impactful event.

👏 A big salute goes to our dedicated student leaders, caring club advisers, and selfless volunteers who contributed their energy and passion to this green mission.

Let this day remind us that every tree we plant is a promise. For clean air, for healthy ecosystems, and for future generations. Together, we are not just planting trees; we are planting hope and fostering change. 🌳🌏

Your Yes-O Club: Empowering EVHS Against Online Threats & Health Risks!

On July 11, 2025, your Yes-O officers proudly participated in a vital symposium at Enrile Vocational High School, alongside SSLG, BKB officers, and our fellow JHS and SHS students. This event was all about equipping YOU with the knowledge to stay safe in our digital world and make informed health choices.

We focused on:

Understanding Cybercrime: From online scams to phishing, we learned about the real dangers and how RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act) helps protect us.

Child Protection Online: A critical discussion on RA 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children - OSAEC & CSAEM Act) – crucial laws for keeping children safe from digital exploitation.

HIV & STI Prevention: Getting clear, accurate information on transmission, prevention methods, and the importance of early detection for our collective well-being.

Big thanks to the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Group PNP and our Municipal RHU for their powerful presentations and dedication to our community's safety and health.
