Home-Based Resource Material: Counter Cups

Teaching Mathematics to young kids is not difficult if it is integrated with games. Mathematical games can be used to enhance students' attitudes towards mathematics. Games provide parent-child interaction as well as opportunities for exploring ideas and more opportunities for communication and discussion that are
normally available in the classroom. Games are highly motivating because the child is actively participating and is in control.

Dear home learning partners, why not try making Counter Cups at home and use the material in teaching counting numbers to your kids? Let's go...๐Ÿ˜

Home-Based Resource Material (Numeracy): Mathematics Roller Machine

"Math may not teach me how to add love or subtract hate, but it gives me hope that every problem has a solution"-Inspirational Math Quote

Math is vital in our world today. Everyone uses mathematics in our day to day lives, and most of the time, we do not even realize it. Without math, our world would be missing a key component in its makeup. One either likes math or dislikes it. One reason why students may hate math is because many of the concepts are abstract and can be hard to master.

The use of blocks, fruits, balls, or other manipulation tools help students learn the basics of place value, addition, subtraction, and other areas of basic math. Manipulation tools make it easier for students to learn and understand basic skills. These are ideal when students learn best through hands-on experience and building, rather than traditional lessons and repetition.

Dear home learning partners, try making this manipulative tool at home and use it in teaching the basic operations in Math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘

Home-Based Resource Material: Hand Game

Making learning fun motivates students and helps them pay attention and stay focused on the subject. Using games in teaching can help increase student participation, foster social and emotional learning, and motivate students to take risks. By playing games, students become more motivated to learn, pay attention and participate in set tasks. Games help students to become a part of a team as well as take responsibility for their own learning. They can also be a great classroom management tool, helping to motivate a class.
So to our dear home learning partners, why not try making this learning resource material at home and use it in teaching your children addition and subtraction in a fun and enjoyable way.๐Ÿ˜

Home-Based Resource Material (Language Literacy):
"MAGIC SPOON"

Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learnโ€. -Benjamin Franklin

Children learn and develop early literacy skills through play, reading with others and being involved in everyday activities in their home with their family and in the community. They learn best if they are involved in the teaching-learning process and with the use of manipulatives.
Let's learn how to make it at home and let your child use it to develop their reading skill.๐Ÿ˜€
