San Fernando National High School proudly congratulates our learners who represented the school in the El Nido and Palawan Quiz Bee Competition – March 11, 2026, held in line with the celebration of the 110th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of El Nido.
Our brilliant representatives:

brought pride and honor to San Fernando National High School by winning 2nd Place among various participants from across the municipality of El Nido. Their knowledge, confidence, and teamwork truly showcased the excellence of SFNHS learners.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers of the event for giving the youth an opportunity to participate and be recognized through their knowledge and love for the history and culture of El Nido.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Municipal Government of El Nido, led by Mayor Edna Gacot-Lim, Municipal Mayor, Joel Rosento, Vice-Mayor, and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, SB Toto Tenorio Vidal, for their continued support to programs that promote youth participation and learning. We also thank the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of El Nido for taking part in organizing this meaningful activity.
Special thanks as well to our very supportive school head Ms. Crystine L. Tanaleon, Assistant School Principal II, and our District-in-Charge, Mr. Renante Tabi, Principal I, for their guidance and encouragement. Our gratitude also goes to the parents of our learners and to everyone who supported and contributed to this achievement.

San Fernando National High School proudly joined the celebration of the 𝟭𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 Municipal Government of El Nido through the DepEd Night held on March 10, 2026, where our talented learners showcased the rich cultural heritage of Palawan through the Cuyonen traditional musical ensemble – the Tipano Band.
The performance showed not only the musical talent and discipline of our learners, but also our shared commitment to preserve and promote the vibrant Cuyonen culture for the younger generation and for the wider community of El Nido.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our very supportive school head 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟. 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻, Assistant School Principal II, whose leadership continues to inspire excellence and cultural pride among our learners. Our sincere appreciation also goes to Hon. 𝗘𝗱𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘁-𝗟𝗶𝗺, Municipal Mayor, to Mr. and Mrs. Mclean of Eastwind Beach Club- El Nido for the generous donation of some musical instruments which greatly helped make this performance possible.
We are also very thankful to sir 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 for his vision and initiative in establishing the SFNHS Tipano Band, and to and his company of mentors, sir Arvin Arzaga and sir Madarcos – who continue to promote and share the pride of Cuyonen culture.
Our gratitude also goes to the dedicated PTA Officers and Parent Members, led by the ever-reliable and generous Mr. 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮ñ𝗶𝗯𝗼, PTA President, for providing transportation and making sure our learners traveled safely and comfortably to the venue.
We also acknowledge the continued support of the BLGU San Fernando, headed by Hon. 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲, and the commitment of Hon. 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮ñ𝗼, Barangay Committee Chair on Education, who has always been supportive of the programs and activities of our school.
To our hardworking teachers, who patiently guide and mentor our learners, and to our learners, whose dedication, confidence, and pride brought our culture to life through music, we thank you for representing our school and community so well.
