Isabela State University (ISU) successfully held the first wave of SMART ISU: Capacity Building on Institutional Digital Tools, focusing on Google Workspace, Turnitin, and the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) Deployment.

The two-day training was conducted on August 19–20, 2026 at the ISU Multipurpose Hall and was initially attended by faculty and staff from the College of Business, Accountancy and Public Administration (CBAPA), College of Education (CEd), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and College of Agriculture (CA). The training was spearheaded by the University ICT Office.

The initiative aims to strengthen the digital capabilities of faculty and staff and promote the effective use of the University’s institutional digital tools.

𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | Isabela State University (ISU) Echague Campus has maintained its ISO 9001:2015 Certification as recommended during the 4th Recertification Audit from August 10-11, 2026.

The recertification audit covered the College of Nursing (CON), School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Business, Accountancy, and Public Administration (CBAPA), Research and Extension Office, Library, Infirmary, Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), and other support and administrative offices.

Certified by TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, the auditors included Ms. Mary Danica Pelone (Lead Auditor), Mr. Rodel Bejasa, and Mr. Erwin F. Quinto, MBA.

The campus first pursued ISO certification in 2014 and was officially registered as ISO 9001:2008 certified on April 14, 2014. On April 18, 2017, ISU-E underwent its transition and first surveillance audit, during which the Quality Management System (QMS) was transitioned from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
