The ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ (๐๐๐) joined the vibrant celebration of ASEAN Month 2026 last Monday, August 10, as students and organizations came together to honor the connections that bind the Southeast Asian community. ๐
With the theme of unity, diversity, and cultural appreciation taking center stage, the celebration began with a lively gathering and parade outside the New Admin Building. The event offered a meaningful opportunity for students to celebrate the distinct traditions and identities of our neighboring nations while recognizing the shared values that bring us together as one region. ๐โจ
As veterinary students, the ASEAN unity carries a significance that goes beyond cultural celebration. Animal health, public health, food security, and the welfare of communities are concerns that transcend national borders. As future veterinarians, we look forward to being part of a profession that contributes to cooperation and shared progress across the region. ๐พ๐ค
This ASEAN Month, may we continue to appreciate what makes each nation unique while celebrating what makes us stronger together.
