Dr. Jigger Manuel Reinforces Values, Discipline, and Responsibility During Monday Flag Ceremony!
During the Monday Flag Ceremony, Dr. Jigger Manuel, school head, reminded learners that education at Lamo National High School goes beyond academic excellence. He emphasized that the school is committed to developing learners holistically by nurturing good values, positive behavior, and responsible citizenship.
He first underscored the importance of attendance and punctuality during the Monday Flag Ceremony, reminding learners that participating with respect and discipline reflects their love for the country, the school, and the learning community.
Dr. Jigger also encouraged every learner to take an active role in maintaining a clean and orderly campus. He challenged everyone that whenever they see a piece of litter, they should immediately pick it up and properly dispose of it. He likewise reminded each class to take responsibility for keeping their respective zones clean, emphasizing that cleanliness is a shared responsibility.
Finally, he reiterated the school’s advocacy on road safety. Learners were reminded not to drive motorcycles without a valid driver’s license. He also encouraged learners to remind their parents and guardians to wear proper safety gear, particularly helmets, whenever they travel to and from school.
Dr. Jigger concluded by emphasizing that true success is measured not only by academic achievements but also by one’s character, discipline, responsibility, and concern for others. These values, he said, are essential in shaping learners into responsible and productive members of society.
