CSNV celebrates UN Day!

The CSNV community joyfully celebrated United Nations Day with the theme “Promoting Peace, Unity, and Global Partnership.” The event, held on November 22, 2025 highlighted the rich cultural diversity of nations and strengthened the students’ awareness of global harmony, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

The celebration began with an Opening Program at the school gymnasium, where the school coordinator, Ms. Maricar C. Ramos, delivered inspiring remarks emphasizing the value of cultural appreciation and peaceful coexistence. Teachers and students proudly participated in a parade of nations, showcasing colorful national costumes representing various countries. Each class displayed creativity and enthusiasm as they wore traditional attire that reflected the uniqueness of the cultures they portrayed.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the presentation of national costumes, dance and song presentations. The performances demonstrated teamwork, discipline, and the learners’ understanding of different world cultures. Parents and guests applauded the students’ efforts, appreciating the school’s commitment to fostering global awareness among young learners.

The event concluded with a unifying final song performed by the pupils and learners, symbolizing hope, solidarity, and a collective dream for a peaceful future. Students left the venue with renewed appreciation for cultural diversity and a better awareness of their role as young ambassadors of peace.

Overall, the United Nations Day celebration in Camella SNV School was a meaningful and successful event. It not only strengthened camaraderie among students and teachers but also reinforced the school’s mission to nurture globally aware and culturally sensitive learners. CSNV Pupils and Students Gather for Anti-Bullying Symposium

To strengthen awareness and promote a culture of respect, Camella SNV School held its Anti-Bullying Symposium on August 22, 2025 at the school gymnasium. The event was attended by students, teachers, and two PNP staff, all united in the fight against bullying.

The symposium opened with welcoming words from Ms. Maricar Ramos, the School Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of creating a safe learning environment.

Guest speakers included PSSG Angelica Z. Laplano, WPCD PNCO, who discussed the meaning and features of bullying. She also discussed to the learners the different forms of bullying which include Physical Bullying, verbal Bullying, Social Bullying, and Cyber Bullying. While PEMMS Marissa A. Vinoya, Admin PNCO, emphasized her lectures on the psychological and emotional effects of bullying, and tackled the consequences of bullying as a whole. Moreover, she also pointed out on the role of social media in preventing cyberbullying, and stated that parents and teachers should work together to address the issues on bullying to avoid cruelty at home, in school, and in the community. Bullying is more than just a problem in schools—it is a serious issue that affects the confidence, safety, and mental health of young people. Whether it happens face-to-face or online, bullying leaves a lasting impact on victims, sometimes even leading to depression, anxiety, or loss of self-worth. Students also participated in interactive sessions, sharing personal insights and solutions on how to stand against bullying.

The symposium concluded with a message of unity, reminding everyone that bullying can only be eradicated if the entire school community works hand in hand. Each student, teacher, and parent has the responsibility to speak up when they see bullying, to support those who are being hurt, and to encourage an environment where differences are celebrated, not mocked.

Ms. Ramos expressed her gratitude to the the speakers on behalf of the Camella SNV School and the administration, and expressed hope that the event inspired students to become advocates of respect, compassion, and empathy in their everyday lives.
