𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗠 | The JHCSC family extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family of our beloved instructor, Sir Elmer Sayson, who recently passed away. Sir Elmer was not only a dedicated instructor but also a father figure to many of his students. He served as an inspiration to the academic community, going beyond limits in guiding, teaching, and supporting those under his care. His sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of the JHCSC community.

His kindness, dedication, and unwavering passion for teaching will always be remembered. Through his wisdom and compassion, he touched countless lives, and his legacy will continue to live on through the students he mentored and the people he inspired.

May he rest in eternal peace. Sir Elmer Sayson will forever remain in the hearts and memories of the JHCSC community and will never be forgotten.

JHCSC has officially been recognized as one of the Rice SeedNet Centers in the country, during the 2025 SeedNet National Workshop attended by Dumingag Campus Director, Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin, on July 22-25, 2025, at DA-CBC Multi-Purpose Hall, DA-PhilRice CES, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
Dr. Tangalin represented the institution through presenting the production plan of the Rice Seednet Center in JHCSC Dumingag Campus. Through this, the institution receives free foundation seeds and a seed fund of P100, 000 per hectare, as part of the PhilRice support. Furthermore, this initiative also enables the institution to mainstream seeds of rice varieties through the National Rice Seed Network; mainly focusing on adverse areas, and other products of breeding and research—ensuring the availability of such seeds to complement the needs of the farmer around the community.
Ultimately, this initiative was made possible through the unwavering support of JHCSC President, Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, who played a key role in facilitating the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA); partners from DA-RFO 9, Mr. Ray Anthony Credo, the Regional Seed Coordinator; and Dr. Rictibert Pamunag of Ipil Research & Experimental Station.
