❤️❤️❤️ a big puso pra sau kuyaaaaa ❤️❤️❤️🫰🏻

Teachers in Aklan received an unusual donation in 2022.

Chris Francisco, a 32-year-old man with Autism Spectrum Disorder, spent more than two years saving small amounts of money for school supplies.

He eventually bought 160 boxes of crayons along with educational materials.
The donations were divided between Calizo Elementary School and Calizo National High School in Balete, Aklan.

People close to him said he would sometimes ask for a few pesos from neighbors and patiently set the money aside.

He was known to visit the school library and enjoyed reading encyclopedias.

After handing over the supplies, Chris had a simple request.
He hoped people would appreciate what he had done.

The boxes of crayons were easy to count.
The years it took to save for them were not.

Yesterday’s meeting was truly a meaningful and successful one. As teachers, nothing brings us greater joy than seeing parents who wholeheartedly support and advocate for their children. Your presence, trust, and commitment remind us that every child’s journey becomes brighter when home and school work hand in hand.

To our Municipal Social Welfare representatives, Maam Carol & Maam Rhea thank you for taking the time to meet with our parents and for sharing valuable information regarding the programs and services available to our learners. We sincerely hope that these forms of support will continue to reach and benefit our children, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential.

To our newly elected officers, congratulations and thank you for accepting the responsibility to serve. Your partnership and cooperation in implementing projects and activities for our SNED learners will greatly contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered.

To our dear parents, thank you for believing in your children and for walking this journey with us. In Special Needs Education, every milestone—big or small—is worth celebrating, and every success is made possible through the collective efforts of families, teachers, and the community.

Kudos to everyone! This meeting marks not just the beginning of a new school year, but the continuation of a shared commitment to ensure that every learner matters, every voice is heard, and every child is given the opportunity to shine. Together, let us make School Year 2026–2027 a year filled with growth, inclusion, hope, and success for all our learners. 💙
