The recognitions reflect the students' dedication, creativity, and journalistic skills honed through months of training and preparation. More than the rankings, their achievements represent the courage to write, capture stories through the lens, and give voice to ideas that matter.
Yet behind every award was a community that stood firmly behind its young journalists.
The district extends its heartfelt gratitude to the school heads of all participating schools in Dumanjug 1 Districtโ๐ฟ๐ช๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก, ๐พ๐ค๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก, ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก ๐๐ฃ๐., ๐ผ๐ก๐ฅ๐ช๐๐ง๐ฉ๐ค-๐๐ค๐ฏ๐ค๐๐ง๐๐๐ค โ ๐๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐พ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง, ๐๐ฃ๐., ๐ฟ๐ช๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐ ๐พ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก โfor their unwavering support and commitment to the students. The district is headed by Public Schools District Supervisor ๐๐ง. ๐๐ค๐ข๐๐ค ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐, whose leadership continues to provide opportunities for learners to discover and develop their journalistic potential.
A special acknowledgment goes to ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ณ, Principal of Dumanjug National High School, for his strong and steadfast support for the delegation. His encouragement, generosity, and willingness to extend assistance helped create an environment where the young journalists could pursue the competition with confidence. His support serves as a reminder that when school leaders believe in the potential of their learners, opportunities become pathways to greater achievements.
The district likewise expresses its sincere appreciation to ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ช๐๐ก๐๐๐ง๐จ of ๐๐ง. ๐ผ๐ก๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐๐ช๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ for generously lending a coaster for the delegation's transportation to Carmen. Their assistance helped make the journey to the competition safer and more convenient for the participants.
The ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ท๐๐ด, particularly Vice Mayor Erwin Wardski Z Gica Gica, deserves heartfelt thanks for approving the delegation's request for transportation and for initiating financial support through the generous assistance of the town councilors:

A special citation is also given to Kuya Richard, the LGU coaster driver, for his kindness, patience, and assistance throughout the entire duration of the event. His warm presence and willingness to help made the delegation's travels more comfortable and memorable.
Also to Mr. Sarsozo, the husband of Mrs. Em-em Flores Sarsozo for selflessly transporting our students on Day 0 and Day 5. Thank you for supporting the publication.
Behind the scenes, the students were also supported by the kitchen staff headed by Ma'am Angeli Tajado and Ma'am Glenda Jadol, whose dedication ensured that the delegation was well cared for throughout the event.
At the competition venue, Sir Genesis Muรฑez and Ma'am Ma. Ella Quinatadcan served as coach-chaperones, providing guidance, supervision, encouragement, and support to the student journalists throughout the conference.
The district also extends its appreciation to all the coaches who could not be physically present but remained with the delegation in spirit. Their patience, training, guidance, and countless hours of preparation helped equip the students with the skills and confidence they brought to the competition.
The success of Dumanjug 1 District at DSPC โ26 is, therefore, not simply a tally of places and awards. It is a reflection of students who dared to tell stories, mentors who taught them how, school leaders who believed in them, and a community that stood behind them every step of the way.
From the written word to the captured image, the young journalists of Dumanjug 1 District have shown that their voices deserve to be heard.
The conference may be over, but their stories are only beginning. ๐ฐโจ
