Our Commitment: A Partner in Strengthening the Corn Value Chain in Zamboanga Peninsula!

Staying true to our commitment as a certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA), Farm C Harvest Community Farm School Inc. continues to serve as a hub for agricultural growth, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

Today, July 22, 2026, we honored this mission by warmly welcoming the Municipal Agricultural and Fishery Council (MAFC) officers from the municipalities of Olutanga and Mabuhay Zamboanga Sibugay represented by Mr. Roberto Castillo and Ruel Joseph to our humble Farm School for a Market Surveillance & Matching.

The visit focused on market surveillance for the municipalities' local corn produce. Facilitated and market-matched by the Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center IX (ATI-IX), this engagement yielded immediate, impactful results. We are proud to announce that an initial deal was sealed to purchase dried yellow corn kernels directly from their local farmers!

From Field to Feedmill, following the successful matching session, the officers took a side-trip tour of our specialized feedmill facility inside the compound. The would be supplied dried yellow corn kernels will serve as a primary, high-quality component in our production of formulated swine feed mixes. This directly links local corn growers to a stable commercial supply chain.

By transforming local crops into premium livestock feed, we are not just teaching sustainable agriculture—we are actively building a resilient, circular economy for our farming communities.Thank you, MAFC Olutanga, MAFC Mabuhay, and ATI-IX, for trusting us as your partner in agriculture!
