They learned that true saving is about discipline and planning, not just money! We had a blast making piggy banks and using savings trackers to visualize those big dreams. Watching them embrace financial habits so early is truly inspiring. ✨

We officially started our first session in 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐨 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 with our Grade 5 and 6 students. The session was led by 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚 𝐉𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐁𝐀 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲.

Our topic for the day, 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐯𝐬. 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, helped students understand early the importance of making responsible and practical decisions.

On Wednesday, November 19, our Grade 5 and 6 students participated in our first session focusing on 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐯𝐬. 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, an important foundation in learning how to make smart and responsible decisions.

This meaningful activity was led by the 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐓. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 together with 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 , 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐁𝐀 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, who all worked hand-in-hand to guide the students throughout the session.
