What an unforgettable celebration of creativity, teamwork, innovation, and fun! ๐ปโจ
From exciting competitions and engaging seminars to thrilling games and house challenges, CCS Week 2026 brought together students who showcased not only their talents and skills, but also the true spirit of camaraderie within the College of Computer Studies. ๐
๐ One of the highlights of the week was the CCS Amazing Race, where participants faced challenging stations focused on Java, SQL, logic, and teamwork. Congratulations once again to ๐ Linux for taking the championship title, with ๐ MacOS and Android earning special recognition for their outstanding performance throughout the race!
๐ก We also kicked off the festivities with an inspiring seminar by Mr. Stephen Sinco, sharing valuable insights about startup growth, innovation, and turning ideas into opportunities โ truly a motivating experience for future tech innovators.

There will be no classes on April 1, 2026, Wednesday, as a Special Wellness Leave will be in effect for the entire FU community.
The university will remain accessible for online and learning resources through the FUEL system. All students and faculty/staff are advised to check with their department for further guidance.
The implementation of a Special Wellness Leave aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting mental health, reducing stress, and supporting overall wellness within the university community. It also contributes to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering a supportive and healthy working environment

April 2, 2026 (Thursday) โ Maundy Thursday
April 3, 2026 (Friday) โ Good Friday
April 4, 2026 (Saturday) โ Black Saturday
This suspension applies to all academic levels and administrative offices across the university.
During this period, no classes will be held, and all non-essential work operations will be temporarily halted to allow the entire Foundation
University community to observe the solemnity of Holy Week.
Regular classes and work will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.
The university administration extends its warmest wishes to all students, faculty, and staff for a peaceful and reflective Holy Week.

Last March 16, 2026 we witnessed the journey of the CCS Fourth Years come full circle during their ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, which signified an important milestone in their academic journey and their readiness to take on greater responsibilities in the field of information technology. ๐

Teams of high-school and college programmers battled it out in the RoboHounds: Code and Combat competition. A highlight of the program is the live autonomous robot showdown, where the fastest and smartest competed real-time in demonstrating precision coding and engineering excellence.
The Digital Expo is a yearly showcase of innovation and digital culture in Foundation University. This year, for FU77 - , we bring the thunderbolt to Robinsons Dumaguete for a three-day showcase of robotics, cultural presentations and interactive exhibits.
Don't miss out! A winner will take home a brand new E-Scooter on Saturday. Come and visit us at the Main Atrium of Robinsons Dumaguete, and witness the future!
