The conference, themed โ€œNavigating the Path Towards Net Zero Carbon Emission by 2050,โ€ serves as a global platform for researchers, scholars, and innovators to present scientific studies and sustainable solutions that contribute to environmental resilience, climate action, and ecological advancement.

The accepted research investigates the growth response of corn seedlings to rice hullโ€“derived silica nanoparticles (SNPs) under salt stress conditions, offering valuable insights into sustainable agricultural innovation, crop adaptability, and the productive use of agricultural by-products. The study underscores the importance of scientific inquiry in developing environmentally responsive strategies for crop improvement and food production systems.

This accomplishment reflects the dedication, collaborative effort, and research potential of these young scholars, as well as the continuing commitment of the Silliman University College of Agriculture to nurture globally competitive learners who contribute meaningfully to agricultural development and environmental sustainability.

The College of Agriculture extends its heartfelt congratulations to Kylle Benedict Q. Arado, Nash Vincent P. Castillon, Aston D. Jumawan, Cameron T. Taรฑara, Emilio Jacinto, and Jack C. Silva for this outstanding achievement and wishes them success as they represent the institution in the international academic community.
