As of this posting, Tropical Storm Basyang continues to bring heavy rains and strong winds across Dumaguete City and Negros Oriental. Several areas in the Visayas are now under heightened wind signals, and flooding in low-lying communities remains a serious concern.

In response, Colegio de Sta. Catalina de Alejandria, Inc. (COSCA) once again opens 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗖𝗔 to provide temporary and safe shelter for families and individuals from flood-prone and high-risk areas.
