| Pursuant to Executive Order No. 48-A, s. 2026 issued by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental, and through an advisory released by the Office of the School President, Rev. Fr. Nathaniel B. Gomez, classes at all levels of Colegio de Santa Catalina de Alejandria, Inc. (COSCA) are suspended on Friday, July 10, 2026.

The suspension extends the earlier class cancellation under Executive Order No. 48, s. 2026, as Typhoon Bavi (Inday) continues to bring sustained rainfall and strong winds across Negros Oriental, increasing the risks of flooding, landslides, and other weather-related hazards.

In its advisory, the Office of the School President likewise encouraged school administrators and faculty members to implement appropriate alternative learning modalities, where feasible, to ensure the continuity of instruction while prioritizing the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school personnel. | via Wilmar M.
