|𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒| Meet Shane Niño V. Navarro, a Registered Chemist from Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, and a DOST scholar graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Negros Oriental State University.

Shane serves as a Project Technical Assistant IV at the DOST Philippine Nuclear Research Institute and CND3. His work involves the synthesis, purification, and characterization of isotope-conjugated cell-penetrating peptides for nuclear cancer treatment and other potential biomedical applications.

Outside the laboratory, Shane enjoys going on rides around the city and exploring beaches, nature spots, and islands. When he’s not out discovering new places, he spends his free time playing mobile games, pickleball, and card games.

We’re glad to have you with us, Shane! Welcome to CND3!

|𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒| Meet Ace Aljon E. Adanza, a Registered Chemist and Chemical Technician who earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Negros Oriental State University.

Before joining C2B2, Ace gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at Herbanext Laboratory. He is now part of the team as a Project Technical Assistant II under the CHOCOCARE Project.

Hailing from Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental, Ace has always enjoyed hitting the road and taking nature trips. Since moving to Iloilo, he spends his free time exploring the city and discovering new food spots. When he’s taking a break at home, he enjoys watching food trips and documentaries by Erwan Heussaff.
