From a simple goal of understanding the technical side of his business, Mr. Ricky Baldado enrolled in TESDA’s Computer Systems Servicing NC II program at Metro Dumaguete College — a decision that opened doors he never imagined.

After completing his training, he became an accredited Trainer and Assessor, an achievement he once thought was out of reach. With his new skills and confidence, he expanded and strengthened his business, eventually growing into a full sublimation uniform production that now serves various schools and organizations.

Because of TESDA, he found work, built a thriving business, traveled, and continued to support his family.

We have good news! TESDA Negros Oriental provides FREE National Competency Assessment and Certification under the Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW) scholarship program for HOUSEKEEPING NC II and COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II.
Interested candidates are advised to prepare and submit the following:
1. Duly completed application form.
2. Self-assessment Guide
3. Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
4. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (for a married woman)
5. 3pcs passport-sized ID photos (white background, wearing polo or collar, printed on chemical-based photo paper)
6. Valid Certificate of Employment

From selling goods on the streets to standing tall as a Licensed Professional Teacher, NTTC Holder, and TESDA Diploma in Software Engineering Technology graduate, Jesel's journey is nothing short of inspiring. A proud single mother of two, she turned every obstacle into an opportunity and transformed hardship into hope.
With unwavering determination, Jesel completed her TESDA Diploma in Software Engineering, passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), and is now pursuing her Master’s in Computer Science—all while shaping young minds at Metro Dumaguete College, Inc. in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
