From the lens of student broadcasters, every speech is more than sound—it’s a story that carries the voice of the campus.
In this year’s State of the School Address, SG President Andrew Estrebella delivered a reflection on a year of service marked by leadership, accountability, and student-centered initiatives. From strengthening engagement inside the university to representing Foundation University in broader youth and leadership spaces, the address highlighted both the challenges and the milestones of Academic Year 2025–2026.
As broadcasting students, we don’t just report what is said—we help carry the message to the wider student body, making sure voices of leadership and student life are heard clearly and meaningfully.

Student-Athlete or Athlete-Student?
We had loads of fun with our fellow Foundationites as we interviewed them about their lives as student athletes. In case you missed our live broadcast, here is their advice for our student athletes out there:
“To our student athletes, don’t be shy; please go out of your comfort zone and make yourself admirable, confident, and strong to show us what you got.” - Mark Lerasan, College of Nursing
“Walay reason for you to stop playing; continue ra jud sa unsa inyong ganahan. If dili para ninyo, ayaw, kay naa pay para ninyo.” - Reyna Aguilar, College of Arts and Sciences
"This year might not be our year, but don’t be discouraged; we will come back stronger."- Yhanni Villaflores, College of Hospitality and Management
Thank you so much to our student athletes, Reyna Aguilar, Yhanni L. Villaflores, and Mark Lerasan, for sharing their experiences at Timeout Talks, airing only on FU Net Radio, with DJ Adricity and DJ Kate.

Lilith Kugler, a German documentary filmmaker and writer spoke at the Greyhound TV Studio, Foundation University on March 5th and left a lasting impact. Not only did she share technical expertise, but she also inspired us to consider the power of film to spark dialogue and effect change. Her award-winning film, "Hausnummer Null," which tackles homelessness and addiction in Berlin, Germany serves as a powerful example. Students from across various disciplines attended and were deeply moved.
