October is Mental Health Awareness Month. In celebration of this consciousness, let us be more intentional, more purposeful, and more attentive to the people who are currently struggling with mental problems and personal battles but do not have the courage to reach out. Seek help from your counselors, pastors, and mental and medical health professionals. Listen without judgment. It costs nothing to be a friend to someone in times of need.

Hello awesome boys and gals of MDC!
We would like to invite you to join us in our cause - that is to create an environment of belongingness, acceptance, and inclusivity.
We cannot do this alone, so we are calling all those who are interested to join the peer facilitators club and be one with us in becoming your peers confidante, pal, and companion. Let's be the listening ears of those who miss the opportunity to be heard. We can do this together with your commitment.
Please click the link below and fill out the information needed, and visit the Guidance Office for your forms. Thank you!

Be a Lifesaver, Donate Blood Today!
Hey there, MDCians! We have an urgent call to action! The power to save lives is in your hands, and we need your support.
As part of Metro Dumaguete Collegeβs month-long celebration of its 21st Founding Anniversary, the school, in partnership with Holy Child Hospital and Negros Oriental Provincial Health Office, will be holding a Mobile Blood Donation Drive this coming August 15, 2023, Tuesday, from 8am to 3pm at the MDC Gym.
Why Donate Blood?
Fact is, every second, someone, somewhere needs blood. The impact of your donation is immense - from accident victims and surgical patients to cancer fighters and newborn babies, you get the chance to touch the lives of diverse individuals in your community.
Worried about the process? Fear not! We have partnered with a well-experienced medical team to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all donors. You'll leave with a heart full of pride knowing you made a real difference. Moreover, refreshments will be provided as a token of our gratitude to all donors.
Spread the word. Share this post with your friends, family, and colleagues. Encourage them to become blood donors too! Together, we can create a network of lifesavers, united in purpose and love.
Your selfless act of donating blood can make all the difference in the life of someone in need.
Pre-register now at the MDC School Clinic!
