✅ 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚?
• 16–59 years old (16–17 years old need written parental consent)
• At least 50 kg (110 lbs)
• Generally healthy

✅ 𝘽𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚:
• Get 6–8 hours of sleep
• Eat a light, non-oily meal at least 3 hours before donating
• Avoid alcohol for 12–24 hours prior
• Drink plenty of water

⚠️ 𝙏𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:
• Recent pregnancy (within 1 year)
• Recent travel abroad (within 1 year)
• Recent surgery or piercing (within 1 year)
• Fever, cough, colds, allergies, or recent tooth extraction

Our volunteers were the silent heroes ensuring everyone's safety. They came prepared. In their designated spots, ready with their first aid skills, and committed to responding to any need. 🙌

To our RCY volunteers, thank you for your service, long hours, and passion. You are the true spirit of volunteerism!

𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 is officially prepared for their stationing deployment for the 𝟏𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐔 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 events.

Under the leadership of 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐨𝐭, members completed a full briefing and demonstration. Covering event expectations, patient care protocols, common medical struggles, proper lifting techniques, and preventive safety measures.

The council also engaged in scenario-based challenges, practiced teamwork drills, learned preventive measures, and familiarized themselves with step-by-step actions during actual patient handling.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Snippets from the Booth Stock Opening during Day 2 of the 118th Founder's Week celebration, with the unraveling of the NORSU Red Cross Youth banner initiated by the NORSU-RCY Vice President-Internal, Barbara May Jabar, and Reynaldo Cuenca.

Meanwhile, the RCY booth continues to be realized in partnership with Lian Mar Bituin of Spade'A Toys and Collectibles, showcasing pieces for anime fans and hobbyists.

Moreover, our first aiders remain mobilized serving the NORSU community, actively contributing to the progression of the Founder's Week celebration.
