๐ผ๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ค๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ง๐๐จ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐ has been considered as dangerous and deadly as terrorism and global warming. Our world is home to many unseen microbes that are constantly evolving. The overuse and misuse of antibiotics has allowed dangerous bacteria to gain resistance against the medicines designed to kill them.
Are we heading towards a post antibiotic era? We cannot reverse this frightening trend but we can slow it down and all of us need to change our behavior to once again gain the upper hand in the fight against antibiotic resistant bacteria.
There is still hope. We must act together to make sure that our antibiotics remain effective for when you and the future generation need them. Antibiotics are precious lifesaver so let's handle them with care.

In these regions, antibiotic resistance is highest and rising.

When do we need antibiotics?
Only bacterial infections require antibiotics. This includes bloodstream infections, skin abscesses/impetigo, bacterial pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and streptococcal pharyngitis. Certain antibiotics, including azithromycin, should be used sparingly in children, so ask your child's doctor what is needed for their bacterial illness.

Antibiotics won't kill, prevent, or stop the transmission of viruses that cause colds, sore throats, upper respiratory infections, and influenza. Rest and time cure colds. Within 10-14 days, your child's symptoms should improve, and an antibiotic isn't necessary.

70,000 youngsters visit the ER due to antibiotic responses, according to research. Diarrhea, liver, and kidney damage might result from improper prescribing. Antibiotics can combine with other drugs and cause life-threatening adverse reactions, requiring ER visits.

๐๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ก๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ was born in Florence, Italy, on ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐ฎ, ๐ญ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฌ. She was a British nurse, social reformer, and statistician who is best known as the creator of modern nursing. Her efforts to change paramedical healthcare, particularly nursing, had a significant impact on the quality of care in the 19th and 20th century.
Florence Nightingale was involved in philanthropy from an early age, tending to the sick and impoverished in the village adjacent to her family's estate. By the time she was 16 years old, she knew that nursing was her vocation. She believed that it was her divine calling.
Florence Nightingale felt unwell in August 1910, although she apparently recovered and was in excellent spirits. A week later, on Friday evening, August 12, 1910, she manifested a variety of distressing symptoms. The next day, Saturday, August 13, 1910, at 2 p.m., she passed away unexpectedly in her London home. The Florence Nightingale Museum commemorates the life and work of the "๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ณ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข" with more than 2,000 items. The museum is located on the site of the original Nightingale Training School for Nurses. Florence Nightingale is still well recognized and revered as the pioneer of modern nursing.
