This recognition is more than just a ranking, it is a celebration of passion and hard work of every member who has been part of this journey.

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁: During Dr. José Rizal's time at the University of Santo Tomas, he earned a "𝙎𝙤𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚" (𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵) grade in 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲—a testament to his brilliant, inquisitive mind that saw science as a vital tool for enlightenment.

On this Rizal Day, we, as a Chemical Society, honor him not just as the National Hero, but also as the passionate student of science. His life reminds us that curiosity, precision, and the pursuit of knowledge are profound forms of patriotism. May his legacy inspire us to use our own learning for the betterment of our community and our nation.

The SU Chemical Society had the privilege of reaching out to the Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) in Talay through a meaningful outreach initiative where gifts were lovingly prepared based on the children’s own wish lists. Seeing their smiles, joy, and sincere gratitude reminded us how powerful simple acts of kindness can be.

This program was truly fulfilling, filled with moments of sharing blessings, touching lives, and affirming that everyone deserves love, care, and happiness, regardless of where they are or what they have been through.

The society extends our deepest gratitude to our advisers, Ma’am Abigail Real and Ma’am Joy Adalia, for their unwavering guidance, support, and encouragement that made this initiative possible. Our heartfelt thanks as well to Ma’am Alphita Enojo for endorsing the beneficiaries and for providing efficient transportation to and from the venue. Lastly, thank you to the members of the society who generously and joyfully prepared and brought gifts for the children, as well as to our former President and alumnus, Mr. Marc Maxino, for accompanying us and sharing his time throughout the activity.

Indeed, this initiative served as a reminder that compassion has no boundaries, and hope can be restored through genuine love and understanding.

Last December 16, 2025, the SU Chemical Society, together with the faculty gathered at Port Royale with a day overflowing with energy, joy, and unforgettable moments. The program was packed with lively performances, entertaining games, delicious food, and the kind of laughter that makes you forget the stress of exams and deadlines.
It wasn’t just a party; it was a celebration of friendship, resilience, and the shared passion that brings ChemSoc together.

As the year comes to a close, we carry with us the memories made that day and the excitement for all the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead.

This season of thanksgiving, the SU Chemical Society reaches out with hearts full of compassion through “Adopt a Wish,” an outreach initiative dedicated to the Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) in Talay, Dumaguete City. In sharing love, we wish to plant seeds of healing, inspire courage, and remind these children that they are worthy of kindness, understanding, and a brighter tomorrow. We hope to recognize their worth, celebrate their humanity, and share the gifts of love, joy, and hope. Because everyone deserves to feel remembered, valued, and embraced during this season of giving.
